About Me

My Story
As a mother of two adult children, my journey into the field of nutrition has been both deeply personal and profoundly rewarding. From early on, I was drawn to the idea that food is not just fuel, but a powerful form of medicine — capable of healing, protecting, and transforming the body and mind.
This passion took on new urgency when I discovered I carry the heterozygous gene for MTHFR (methylenetetrahydrofolate reductase). This genetic insight opened the door to a deeper understanding of how personalized nutrition — particularly the right form of vitamins, food choices and targeted lifestyle changes — could influence not only my own health, but also that of my children. Through careful research, hands-on learning, and professional training, I began to witness firsthand the incredible impact that food can have when tailored to individual needs.
Today, as a qualified nutritionist, I specialize in family health, metabolic balance, and preventative wellness, with a special interest in supporting those with insulin resistance, hormone imbalances, and methylation issues. I believe every meal is an opportunity to nourish the body, support energy, and create long-lasting wellness.
My approach is both evidence-based and heart-led. I combine the latest in nutritional science with a deep respect for the healing power of whole, real food. Whether I’m helping a parent navigate their child’s fussy eating habits or supporting an adult in managing blood sugar naturally, my goal is always the same: to empower individuals and families to thrive — with vibrant health, clarity, and vitality.
In some cases, further functional or genetic testing may be needed to uncover the root cause of persistent symptoms or health concerns, allowing for a more targeted and effective nutritional approach.
-
Food as medicine: Every ingredient has the potential to heal or harm. I focus on using food therapeutically to support metabolic health, gut balance, hormone regulation, and energy.
-
Individualized nutrition: No one-size-fits-all. Your genes, lifestyle, and health history shape your nutritional needs — and I tailor my advice accordingly.
-
Nourishment over restriction: I emphasize nutrient-dense meals, not deprivation. Eating well should feel satisfying, empowering, and enjoyable.
